A Gender Euphoria Boner is what a man with Autogynephilia experiences when he becomes aroused by the image of himself as a woman.

Autogynephilia is a paraphilia which develops from autosexual behaviour. Classically, it is 'A man's propensity to be aroused by the thought or image of himself as a woman'. It was first descried by Dr Ray Blanchard, building on a century of research and his own, at the Clark Institute in Toronto (now CAMH).

Autogynephilia is a consuming, addictive condition that can literally wreck lives and for many men, it is terrifying. A man typically begins to experience unwanted urges that make him desire himself sexually as a woman. From there it progresses to auto-erotic masturbation, cross-dressing and more. Typically, and at a crucial point, the part of the self upon which the Auotogynephilia is focussed, which is called the Erotic Target Location Error or ETLE, will be given a name. This is catastrophic and should be avoided. Seek help before that happens, if you can.

I do not seek to counter or contradict those men with this who want to live as women; it's your life and what you do with it is none of my business. But I do try to help men who have this but do not wish to let it take over their lives. Men, that is, who like being men, who want to live as men and who specifically do not wish to 'become' women.
