Kevin Aho - Existentialism an Introduction - C1 Existentialism and Modernity

Half of this chapter isn't even worth reading but I read through it all anyways however sloppily and rushed, and the rest of the book is not at all worth narrating (I read the entire book through and the further it progresses the more reductionism, over generalizations, and red herrings dominate which is quite unsurprising given the scope of this book and its brevity but none-the-less could have been avoided), and it annoys me that he is entirely unaware of what I consider the most significant existentialist philosopher: Colin Henry Wilson. I found value only in his contrast of the Hebraic and Hellenistic faiths and their synthesis in the Christian faith, "fides quaerens intellectum", and it is those few pages where he makes this contrast that motivated me to narrate this chapter of the book.
