Anne-Laure Bonnel, a young director and mother of a French family, decided to accompany Alexander, a father of Ukrainian family, to the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine in a pro-Russian zone. At the heart of the war, she captures the terrible images of a deadly conflict and an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
This interview on French TV until now only to be found in French on YouTube, hat’s why I decided to offer a version with subtitles in English, German and Chinese.
