The rumor mill is churning about the eminent closure of Playa Sosua and the redevelopment of the beach. We roll through this and try to sort out the facts, the fiction and the unknown variables surrounding the beach. Needless to say, Playa Sosua generates a ton of tourism for Sosua and the entire North Coast of the Dominican Republic. I also have a vested interest in the continuation of the beach.
