June 30, 2021 - U.S. Marines with 2d Battalion, 2d Marines engage in realistic combat training supported by the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force Fuji Training Center during exercise Shinka at Combined Arms Training Center, Camp Fuji, Japan, June 14 - July 1, 2021. Shinka, and exercises like it, exemplify a shared commitment to innovative training that produces lethal, ready, and adaptable forces capable of decentralized operations across a wide range of missions. 2/2 is forward-deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marines, 3d Marine Division.
