The Dark Side of Blue follows the story of DCI Trent Chambers as he investigates the disappearance of 22 year old heiress, Vanessa Osbourne. In the beginning, he's not very gung-ho about jumping to the conclusion this is a valid case of a missing person; considering she is a grown woman from such an affluent background. However, things escalate quickly, when the bound mutilated body of a young woman is discovered. Thus, causing Trench to change his perspective on whether there is any cause for concern, as well as blowing the lid off of the Pandora's box that is the world he lives in.
