FLGC - Site Visit, Bucaramanga, Colombia 8/8/2021

David Capablanca, on behalf of Friendly Bear Research visits the Flora Growth (FLGC) cultivation facility in Bucaramanga, Colombia for the first time on 8/8/2021. The following is a transcript of the visit and phone conversation with Javier Franco (VP of Agriculture, FLGC) via speakerphone which was recorded through a hidden microphone. "Security Guard: Do you want to talk to the engineer? (Asks David, then passes the phone to him, but there is no reception. The “engineer” the security guard is referring to is Javier Franco)

David Capablanca: Hola, Javier? (Phone has no signal, guard opens gate)

Security Guard: (Opens front gate) Let’s go inside to get WIFI for reception.

(Security guard & David C. walk over to the Flora Growth office area with WIFI.)

Security Guard: Hello? (Speaking on phone with Javier) I’m here with the visitor.

(Security guard passes phone to David. David speaks with Javier Franco, FLGC VP of Agriculture to coordinate a time so he can have a tour of the cultivation facility.)

Javier Franco: I apologize, we can't let anybody enter.

David Capablanca: The thing is that I’m not in town for too long, can you talk to Evan to…

Javier Franco: But, but nobody can enter today- it’s not a matter of Evan or me, it’s the government. The person that is going to visit us has to notify us two days before with the ID, phone number and we have to send the number to the government. It’s not that easy. I apologize.

David Capablanca: It’s okay, can we schedule in two days then? Is that possible?

Javier Franco: Yea, tomorrow. If you give me your ID, Tuesday is perfect.

David Capablanca: Tomorrow even? Or it doesn’t matter? The sooner the better.

Javier Franco: I don’t know if I can on Monday, maybe in the afternoon.

David Capablanca: Tomorrow after lunch?

Javier Franco: Yea, we have to notify the authorities in Bogota. Give me your name, ID number, telephone number so I can reach them tomorrow morning.

David Capablanca: Yea, that’s perfect.

Javier Franco: I will call Evan after this call.

David Capablanca: Sounds good. Okay, should I wait here until after you are done with the phone call?

Javier Franco: No, because today is impossible. I’m sorry, your name is David?

David Capablanca: Yes, David.

Javier Franco: Okay, David sorry but today will be impossible.

David Capablanca: Okay, so…

Javier Franco: Try tomorrow after lunch.

David Capablanca: After lunch is perfect. Sounds good. Okay, so I’m going to give my information to the security here.

Javier Franco: Yes, please.

David Capablanca: Sounds good. What is your name?

Javier Franco: Uh, uh, I apologize for that. Today will be impossible.

David Capablanca: It’s ok, what was your name? ...so I can remember it for tomorrow.

Javier Franco: Javier, Javier.

David Capablanca: Javier?

Javier Franco: Javier.

David Capablanca: Sounds good. I will give him my information and hopefully tomorrow I can
come here after lunch.

Javier Franco: Thanks.
