Using lights to save lions and livestock in Tanzania

There are growing tensions in Tanzania: lions are killing more and more livestock, and people are embarking on "revenge killings" of the lions for destroying their livelihoods. But now, CFACT is partnering with conservationist Patricia Vaughn with an innovative solution. When flashing lights are installed around livestock pens (aka "bomas") the lions stay away, and the humans have no need to go on revenge killings. Learn more about this technological solution helping both people and lions in Tanzania, part of CFACT's international Stewardship in Action program.
