On the night before Christmas, in 1945 the Sodder family at U.S. Highway 21 in Fayetteville, West Virginia went to bed excited about Christmas morning. There was a little snow on the ground and in just a few hours, Christmas would be here! But, instead of happiness, the family woke up to a nightmare that would never end.
