Somatics and Impact Resilience. How do they fit together? Kyokushin Karate with Cameron Quinn

We all have four primary somatic qualities: Flexibility (Suppleness), Strength, Speed and Cardio-Vascular Endurance (Stamina). For impact activities such as Kyokushin tournaments, there is a fifth very important somatic, Impact Resilience (Sturdiness). All training is fundamentally the challenge to train these somatics in the most optimal way for the activity we choose. Today, we are discussing where each of these somatics sits on what Coach Ian King has called the "Specificity Continuum". Where does Impact Resilience fit?
