The Occult gets a lot of bad raps and is the scrape goat for the failures of religion, the metaphysical, even philosophy and just about anything associated with the "Spirit Realm". In almost every case where a person or group of persons have gotten themselves into trouble when interacting with the Ethereal and those Beings that exist in that dimension is because of their ignorance and the fact they are lazy and never took the time to read and understand how to use and operate the device and like anything else in life where you try to operate something you have no idea what it is fully capable of you are going to get into trouble.
