Rally against obscene books in Texas ISD! Part 5

I approached a few women from the opposite side and wanted to get a better understanding of why they were protesting against the Rally against obscene books in Texas ISD in McKinney, TX on April 2nd, 2022.

One protestor held a sign that read “Ban bigotry not books” and explained what the sign meant to her.

She said “it means that people want to ban books are against things like LGBTQ and racial justice.”

Another protestor got very defensive when I approached her to ask what her sign meant and refused to speak with me regarding what her sign meant.

A woman scorned me over my shirt and demanded to know what it meant, because it read “Teach children truthfully.”

She was not pleased with my answer and proceeded to walk away and not take any questions.
