If you like these videos you will likely love my podcast and all my other stuff you can find at http://tspc.co

I dunked pretty hard on the idiocy of the current NFT market on Tuesday but I also said NFTs have tons of potential if we stop using them to sell the rights to say a jpg of a square (no shit true story).

Then today I was listening to Pomps latest podcast with Justin Blau who is now building a platform called Royal for the music industry. I won't go into that much today it was just the model that really caught my attention.

Today I will lay out how authors could offer a great revenue share with fans though NFTs. My idea is almost infinitely flexible. In its infancy it would amount to an independent book publishing platform (these exist). The platform to be most successful would also have a format for publication that would require their app/reader to read the books.

Then the books should also be available for resale on the same app as "used". I will talk about how to prevent this from being a huge loser for folks in giving authors some control over resell pricing. From here it gets really and I mean really exciting. Like I said NFTs have the potential to unleash what Sal Mayweather calls "the tokambrain explosion".

An explosion of new "life" in the world of investments, content, property rights, etc. This is one way that could work. For all I know it already exists somewhere?
