Huntsville Alabama Hamfest: My first ham radio convention!

In this video we go to Hunstville Alabama for the friendliest ham radio convention. This amateur radio gathering started way back in 1954, after several venue changes it has landed and the Von Braun Center. I ended up camping at Monte Sano State Park which is only a few minutes drive to the show. The park also happens to be a Parks on the Air park so you bet I activated it!.
