THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS delivers our fourth James Bond in the form of Timothy Dalton, who is really good...
The story begins with the resurrection of Smiert Schpionem, the old SMERSH prime directive of “death to spies.” Soon after, Bond is tasked with providing overwatch for the defection of the high level Russian general Koskov. But it turns out that this was all a ruse to plant false information inside British intelligence. In truth, Koskov manipulates the brits into thinking Smiert Schpionem is real so that they will take out General Pushkin (who was in lord of the rings). So really all of this smoke and mirrors was to trick Bond into killing Pushkin because Koskov wants to buy guns for some reason. And then as usual Bond gets laid.
