Something we hear often from people that want to homestead and feel they can't is they feel their job prevents them from this life. It is possible to find balance on a manageable scale. For some, like myself, I just have to scale things down in a manageable way because homesteading while working my full-time job is exactly what I am doing. One person's definition of what this is can be completely different to another. The idea is to start small and build from where you are, the same philosophy we talk about with growing food.
