PEOPLE GET ANGRY WHEN I SAY THAT AMERICANS HAVE BECOME COWARDLY AND COMPLACENT.
It isn't my intention to insult anyone. I just wish that people understood that for many people who have lived in communism, the thought of going back, which is a possibility in this country, is a horrible nightmare.
Why, oh why, have we allowed a fake president in the WH for more than a year? I have said over and over again .... To live like a hungry caged bird isn't worth living.
I was born in Cuba. I think that if everyone knew the extent of full communism, where the government owns and controls EVERYTHING .... including where you live, where you work, how much money you will make, what foods and quantities you are allowed to buy (not enough), where you send your kids to school (might even be a boarding school far from home), people get rewarded for snitching on others (you can't keep track of the law - changed at the drop of a hat), nothing of quality to buy, no hardware stores, no auto parts stores (family members in U.S. always having to send what they can't find over there), no toilet paper, no red meat, no milk, everything seems to be filthy or falling apart, no a/c, no hot water heaters, no toilet seats (not even at the airport), power and water outages often, long lines everywhere, transportation is a nightmare, bring chickens inside the house at night or they will be stolen.... I could go on and on ...
Most importantly: No firearms and no elections.
