First Test Shots from Burgess Top Break Revolver

I’ve been working on this design for a while and I finally got it to the range for a test firing.

This is my top break auto-extracting 3D printed revolver chambered in 38 special. I fired from test bench fixture. This being the first gun I designed and printed I didn’t want to risk injuring my hands or catching some shrapnel to the neck. Thankfully the gun didn’t explode but it did break and stop working after 8 rounds. The plastic frame cracked increasing the gap between the cylinder and firing pin. So I need to work on the design a little more before I publish the files.
