Australian Army Calvary unit, 1st Armored Regiment, prepares for Exercise Koolendong

August 21, 2021 - Australian Army soldiers with 1st Armored Regiment conduct a live fire range using weapons mounted to and part of their Australian Service Light Armored Vehicles during Exercise Koolendong at Bradshaw Field Training Area. 1st ARMD Regt. prepared for the exercise by zeroing their weapon during a live fire range. Exercise Koolendong validates Marine Rotational Force – Darwin and the Australian Defence Force’s ability to conduct expeditionary command and control operations, demonstrating the shared commitment to being ready to respond to a crisis or contingency in the Indo-Pacific region.
