1. The Enemy
• His identity. (Gen 3:1, Job 1:6, Matt 4, Matt 25:41, 1 Pet 5:8)
• Passivity towards Satan
2. The Battlefield
• Where Satan chooses to attack. (Gen 3, Eph 6:12, Jam 4:7)
• Our own flesh (1 Cor 9:25-27)
• The enemies seem to multiply (Psa 38:19, 56:2, 59:3-4)
3. The Weapons
• The Lord’s banner (Exodus 17)
• Steadfastness (Eph 6:10-11)
• Sobriety – Seriousness
• Endurance – steadfast fortitude (Rom 5:4)
• Confidence in God (Psa 27:1-3)
4. The Soldiers
• They stand firm
• They are diligent
• They are divinely helped, protected, and comforted
• They are delivered
5. The Victory
• Victory if from God (2 Cor 2:14)
• Victory is always by faith
• Victory is multifaceted (Rev 2-3)
