GREDIENTS :

450 grams plain flour
250 ml warm milk
50 grams sugar
50 grams butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon clove powder
1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
7 gram sachet fast action yeast
30 grams raisins
1 egg

CROSS GREDIENTS :
75 grams plain flour
1/4 cup water

GLAZE GREDIENTS :
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
4 tablespoons milk

SUCTIONS :

.in a mixing bowl add 250 ml warm milk, 7 gram sachet fast action yeast
.stir well and leave to sit for approximately 10 minutes for yeast to activate
.in another mixing bowl add 450 grams plain flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt
.add 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
.add 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon clove powder and mix together
.add 50 grams sugar and mix together
.add 50 grams butter and mix with hands until crumb consistency
.pour egg into milk and yeast and mix together
.pour wet mixture into dry mixture and mix together
.sprinkle flour on flat surface and remove dough from bowl
.sprinkle flour on dough and knead for approximately 2 minutes
.add 30 grams raisins and continue kneading for approximately 3 minutes
.cut the dough into 12 pieces
.place dough pieces into a baking dish coated in butter
.cover with a kitchen towel and leave to set for 1 hour
( cross )
.in small beaker mix 75 grams plain flour
,1/4 cup water until tacky consistency
.place mixture in a piping bag and pipe crosses onto the dough balls
.bake in a pre heated oven 180 c / 356 f for 25 minutes
( glaze )
.in a beaker mix 4 tablespoons powdered sugar, 4 tablespoons milk
.removes buns from oven and spread glaze on top
