New Fire Flower Shooting Mechanic! - SMM Expert Endless #12

This level had a cool new way of using the fire flower in Super Mario Maker 2. It actually allows you to shoot upwards! It was a pretty fun mechanic.

In this episode of Super Mario Maker 2 expert endless we had some great levels and some bad levels. Among my favorite were a Link puzzle level, a new fire flower shooting mechanic level and a very creative mario mini games level.

The Link level (Eight Shards of the Triforce) bullet bill was on the long side, it was a red coin stage and was a puzzle solving stage. I think I died just once here and so ended the stage with a +2.

The level with a new shooting mechanic, Soot Force, was a nice surprise. The creator filled the stage with semi solid platforms. When shooting the fire flower power up , the semi solids carried the fireballs almost vertically. It transformed the level into almost an overhead shooter style of game. Goombas, spiney's, spiketops and other enemies lined the semi solids to block your path. At the end, only with the fire flower can allow you to pass through the frozen coin blocks.

The puzzle level was a Mario World style and was called マリオのアナザ-ゲ-ム. This stage had a variety of puzzles. Some I didn't fully appreciate when playing through initially, but watching again later revealed some really creative moments. We had a koopa hammering section, a bill launcher stacking section and a POW stacking section (this section I did completely wrong).
