At the end of last December, 2021, at a short distance from the coast of Papua New Guinea, a diver filmed a very rare jellyfish. This is one of the most unusual sea creatures, which was previously seen only once almost 25 years ago.
This jellyfish was first encountered in May 1997 on the Great Barrier Reef, northeast of Queensland, Australia. Before being caught, the marine invertebrate was filmed, but it was later lost.
The author of a spectacular video with a jellyfish described it as a fast-swimming creature a little larger than a soccer ball.
