Repairing a broken acoustic guitar bridge with Piezo pick-up Part 1

This is my first attempt at ever trying to repair a bridge or glue one to the body of a guitar.
I spent a few hours watching several YouTube videos for some advice and instruction on the best ways to go about repairing this.
It's an Ibanez Performance Acoustic Guitar that I've had since 2004. This has been my main performing guitar for the last 2 decades so I'd like to hold on to it for the memories.
