PLUTO (Roman)
PLUTO is the god of the underworld in Roman mythology. PLUTO was also the god of wealth because diamonds and other jewels come from underground. A myth about PLUTO is that he took Proserpina, who was the daughter of Ceres, to the underworld to be his wife.

PLUTO is HADES (Greek)
HADES, Greek Aïdes (“the Unseen”), also called PLUTO or PLUTON (“the Wealthy One” or “the Giver of Wealth”), in ancient Greek religion, god of the underworld. HADES was a son of the Titans CRONUS and RHEA, and brother of the deities Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Hera, and Hestia.

PLUTO METAL is PLUTONIUM
PLUTONIUM was named after the planet, Pluto. This is because it came after Uranium, which was named after the planet Uranus, and neptunium, which was named after the planet Neptune. PLUTONIUM emits neutrons, beta particles and gamma rays.

PLUTONIUM is a radioactive chemical element with the symbol Pu and atomic number 94. It is an actinide metal of silvery-gray appearance that tarnishes when exposed to air, and forms a dull coating when oxidized. The element normally exhibits six allotropes and four oxidation states.

PLUTO and CERBERUS
CERBERUS, often referred to as the hound of Hades, is a multi-headed dog that guards the gates of the Underworld to prevent the dead from leaving. He was the offspring of the monsters Echidna and Typhon, and was usually described as having three heads, a serpent for a tail, and snakes protruding from multiple parts of his body. CERBERUS is primarily known for his capture by HERACLES (HERCULES), one of HERACLES' twelve labours.

PLUTO and the BIDENT
A BIDENT is a two-pronged implement resembling a pitchfork. In classical mythology, the BIDENT is a weapon associated with HADES (PLUTO), the ruler of the underworld.

PLUTO and UNDERWORLD
Hidden deep within the bowels of the earth and ruled by the god HADES and his wife PERSEPHONE, the Underworld was the kingdom of the dead in Greek mythology, the sunless place where the souls of those who died went after death.

PERSEPHONE was the goddess queen of the underworld, wife of the god Haides (Hades). She was also the goddess of spring growth, who was worshipped alongside her mother Demeter in the Eleusinian Mysteries. This agricultural-based cult promised its initiates passage to a blessed afterlife.

PLUTO GLYPH
PLUTO's symbol is made up of the circle that symbolizes spirit, the crescent that symbolizes receptivity, and the cross that represents matter. The symbol will be about spiritual receptivity and things that are above the physical world.

PLUTO and the STYX
Dead souls were escorted to the shores of the River STYX by Mercury , where they were received by the boatman CHARON, who rowed them across the River STYX to PLUTO's kingdom.

CHARON or KHARON is a psychopomp, the ferryman of HADES who carries souls of the newly deceased across the river STYX that divided the world of the living from the world of the dead. A coin to pay CHARON for passage, usually an obolus or danake, was sometimes placed in or on the mouth of a dead person. Some authors say that those who could not pay the fee, or those whose bodies were left unburied, had to wander the shores for one hundred years, until they were allowed to cross the river.
