Boondocking on a budget.

With the Florida Mountain Range as a backdrop, life at the LoW-Hi RV Ranch in Deming, New Mexico, is slow paced, quiet, and tranquil where a soul can retain a sense of community while observingthe comings and goings and interact with other friendly, likeminded people in the Nomad family.

The LoW-Hi RV Ranch is open to the public at very reasonable rates, but membership in certain travel clubs brings discounted rates, along with their own Loners on Wheels (LoWs) travel club.

Some clubs are for people in relationships, some clubs are for singles, perhaps looking for a possible relationship, while LoWs only requirement for membership is that you are legally single. LoWs welcomes All People to the ranch, regardless of relationship status. Furthermore, you need not have an RV to stay here, either. All are welcome, whether you are in an RV, a Vanlifer, a Car Camper, in a Schoolie, or even a Tent Camper. All are welcome.

Membership to these types of clubs are usually quite affordable and, I feel, are a great way for the Nomad community to gather and create a social atmosphere for many who spend an inordinate time in isolation from the rest of the world.

Using my membership with LoWs, I have been able to boondock here for around $5 a day while still enjoying all the amenities the ranch has to offer. There are many sites that have water and electricity, some that will accommodate a 40' pull through or back in, and some that will accomadate vans, but I prefer to boondock.

My first week cost me $40, and I felt comfortable enough within that week to pay $110 for another 30 days.

I find the Low-Hi RV Ranch in Deming, New Mexico to be an extraordinary good value and wonderful resource. It is truly a Hidden Gem.

The LoW-Hi RV Ranch is well maintained, clean, and friendly, and I give it a well deserved 5/5 ★★★★★
