So the rust racer challenge basically build a car without repairing anything and have everything in a natural state basically how you found it. This challenge is time-consuming sort of fun and can be done with multiple people in a group or discord. another challenge under the belt in car mechanic simulator 2021

CMS JUNKYARD WARS

RULES
One trip to the junkyard to find a car
Mod cars cannot be used in the competition
All parts must be from the junkyard only
Donor cars can be bought for hard to find parts or parts in better condition
No repairs on anything
No new parts
Car wash is optional (excluding interior detail)
Only parts that are needed for the car to run are required, all others are optional
Paint is optional

POINTS SYSTEM
Vehicle condition (400% MAX) - +25PTS
Lap time (BEST OF 3) - +20PTS
Top speed - +20PTS
Matching rims and body parts - +15
Sell value - +8PTS
Horsepower - +5PTS
Profit
A)Positive - +3PTS (If both lower value gets 0PTS)
B)Negative - -3PTS (If both higher value gets 0PTS)
Vehicle completion - +2PTS
Finish time - +2PTS
