Splitgate Devs Coming for Riot Games?! | Raise $100 million For $1.5 BILLION Valuation, 25% Finished

Splitgate had a tough launch of their Beta. With massive server problems as they hit 2 million downloads, they decided to delay their launch and raise money for extra developers so they could finish the FPS properly. Splitgate wants to be seen alongside other big FPS names like Riot games, Halo Infinite, Call of Duty Vanguard and Battlefield.

But now, 13 miillion downloads later Splitgate has raised an extra 100 million dollars which values their company at 1.5 billion dollars in order to add extra features, devs, and server infrastructure to lower queue times. Splitgate wants to be the next riot games and take on Halo: Infinite forge mode with their own level editing tools and custom game mods.

With Halo's Forge Mode delayed until months after Halo launches, Splitgate has a great chance to beat them to the punch. Splitgate will face stiff competition from Call of Duty Vanguard, Warzone's new map and Battlefield 2042's launch. But if they can maintain their momentum, innovation through their portal system and keep growing. We could well be looking at the next big name in FPS gaming to sit alongside the trinity of Halo Infinte, Call of Duty and Battlefield.
