FN 509 MRD Mid Size

So, I just noticed the FN 509 enough to go out and get one to try it. Before, I wasn’t that interested in it……well I could not tell you why.

But then a few of my class mates shot them in the RDS class that Steve Fisher gave in Reevesville SC.

The pistol seemed to run like a Swiss watch, and I resolved to get one then to try, and then promptly forgot.

Here we are, present day. I have purchase and shot the FN 509 MRD Mid Size. Then I stuck Holosun 507k on it with a C&H precision adapter plate, and there it is. A nearly perfect carry gun, totally adequate out of the box, but taken as far as it can be by adding a red dot.

I wonder about all those other guns I havent tried yet?
