Adoption Unites A Family

"When we chose adoption that meant we had to be okay with the fact that we wouldn’t have children that looked like us. Growing up people automatically knew what family I belonged to because I looked like them. Seems like a silly thing to say but when we got married I couldn’t wait to have a child that was the perfect mixture of our features.
Giving up the fact that my DNA would end with me was harder to do than I thought. But now that we are parents to 3 beautiful children I couldn’t imagine it any different."
