Don't give up on Amazon KDP and Self-Publishing. The brutal truth, as always.

Like any business, it can take a long time before you see a return on your investment. However, the beauty of self-publishing and using the KDP platform, is that your investment is usually time and not so much money. Presuming you don't spend a fortune on editors, formatters, proofreaders, etc.
