Puzzled About Revelation: Part 20: The Mark of the Beast and The Image of God 1

As we return to our study of the Book of Revelation, we are jumping into chapter 13 for a few weeks to look at "The Image of the Beast" (last week) and "The Mark of the Beast" (this week). These are two very controversial subjects, but I believe the Holy Spirit is currently illuminating these texts in unprecedented ways!
This week: What is the "mark of the Beast" and how is it connected to the image of the Beast and the image of God in mankind? How is it connected to false worship of Satan? The Bible says that those who refuse to worship the image and receive the mark will be killed, and those who do worship the image and receive the mark will suffer eternal death. Clearly, this IS a Gospel-issue and matter of eternal significance!
