NATO enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) Battalion Battlegroup Exercise

June 13, 2017 - On March 14, 2017 members of the Defence Committee of the Germany Bundestag visited Rukla with Vice Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Vytautas Umbrasas: they met with soldiers of the NATO enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) Battalion Battlegroup led by Germany, and observed the first joint exercise of the NATO eFP troops and soldiers with the Grand Duchess Birut Uhlan Battalion of the Mechanised Infantry Brigade Iron Wolf.
