Far Cry 6 Trailer Thinks Gamers Are Snowflakes | Giancarlo Esposito Says Anton Castillo Is A Hero!

Far Cry 6 Reveal trailer led to many hands-on gameplay previews and impressions. But the Gamescom 2021 interview with Giancarlo Esposito led to Giancarlo saying that Anton Castillo wasn't a villain, he was a hero. This led to a lot of gamer backlash, but in Ubisoft's most recent Far Cry 6 Trailers, Ubisoft decided to call gamers "too sensitive". An interesting tactic.

Now Ubisoft in these Far Cry 6 trailers did repeat multiple times that Anton Castillo was the villain. So they have learned that maybe morality isn't as fluid as Giancarlo would like to pretend it is. But it does raise interesting questions as to how the story will be pushed. Will Far Cry 6 try to make Giancarlo Esposito's character seem like a good guy? Present how he treats his innocent population as morally neutral? We will have to wait and see.
