Entrepreneur De'Von Truvel created the "Play Black Wall Street" game that was inspired by the real businesses and events from early-1900s in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Greenwood community that was dubbed "Black Wall Street" was one of the most economically successful communities in American history before the infamous massacre. Truvel designed this board game to help players increase both their financial literacy and their Black history knowledge.
