Is the FDA Following the Science? Paul Offit Criticizes 4th Booster Authorization

Mary Holland and Polly Tommey discuss a new campaign from Children’s Health Defense called “It’s Time to Follow the Science,” that presents the latest science behind the COVID vaccines and masks. They also react to a recent article reporting on the FDA’s decision to authorize Pfizer and Moderna injections for people over 50 years of age without consulting with their committees of independent vaccine experts.

“So is this the way it works? We talk endlessly about how we follow the science – it doesn’t seem to work out that way.” Dr. Paul Offit, an internationally recognized expert in the field of virology, a vocal proponent of mass vaccination, and a member of the FDA’s vaccine advisory committee spoke out against the FDA’s decision to move forward on vaccine approvals without consulting their vaccine advisory committee.
