Express LRS wont work on some receivers (how to fix it)

In this video I show you you to simply modify the ep1 Express LRS receiver to work with the iflight protek 25 flight controller ( Possibly others too)
This problem presents as a solid orange light on the ELRS receiver as soon as it is powered on and will just stay like that and do nothing. This seems to be caused by the RX line voltage being pulled low for some reason and this in line resistor is the fix.
