Home Bound

I've been gone for far too long.
Seen the world while I was gone.
Met new people strange as they be.
Glad to have met them. They were glad to be seen.

People here and there are generally the same.
We all cling to others, and we bleed the same way.
I've seen so much, but I haven't seen it all.
The world keeps on turning, but now it seems so small.

I keep on walking to this place in my dreams.
This worlds made for watching, and when watched it gleams.
I'll keep on stopping at what catches my eye.
In the morning the sun says, "Hello", and in the evening, "Goodbye".
