The Cross of Jesus -- Following Jesus Luke 9:23

The cross of Christ is a heavy burden because following Jesus demands we pick it up daily. In Luke 9:23, Jesus tells his disciples they must pick up their daily cross if they want to be a disciple. The message is the same for us.

In this video we look at what it means to pick up the cross, and the necessary ingredient for successful discipleship.

What kind of Disciple are you? Pt. 2 Discipleship Bible study. Discipleship is often used loosely by many churches and preachers. In many churches, it's the description of anyone who becomes a "Christian." Jesus defines it differently.

As sons and daughters of the light, we have a responsibility to become like our Master, Jesus. It's a tough calling. But it's the only way out of darkness and into the eternal realm of the Spirit.
