Federal Reserve’s Kaplan, Rosengren and other officials financial disclosures sparked criticism about their trading that exposed potential shortcomings in the Fed's rules on investments.

Eric Rosengren made as many as 37 separate trades in the four REITS while the Fed purchased almost $700 billion in MBS. While Fed's Robert Kaplan made multiple million-dollar-plus stock trades in 2020.
