Widespread Power Blackouts in China: Coal Shortage? Or the Need to Invade Taiwan?

Recently there is another event in China that has had a very big impact on many aspects, and that is the large scale power shortage. Over 20 provinces out of 31 have experienced blackouts, and people joked about going back to the stone age in one night. So why would China, as the second largest economy in the world, suddenly suffer from this low-level problem that people think only exists in North Korea? Today I’d like to talk about some “conventional” explanations, as well as an “unconventional” view, which is, the blackouts happened because the CCP is preparing for war.
