Aquanut 1 Submersible - First Dip (raw footage)

This is my first "DiResta" style video. LOL I haven't had time to edit videos lately, so I figured I'd give you all a look at what I was working on.

I have a 3 part set of videos that go through the design and build of this submersible (Aquanut 1). I should have some time here soon to get them up. The submersible is an extension of the Action Camera Frame with SeaPerch motors attached. If you don't know what SeaPerch is you should definitely check them out.

Camera is a GoPro Hero 3 with a waterproof case modified to pass the AV signal out. Frame is PVC. I'm using Cat 5e as the tether. The camera records locally to SD, but I can see what the camera sees via a handheld FPV monitor. The whole thing runs from my 12v trolling motor battery, which is overkill, but it lasts forever.
