On June 1, 1967, the former engineers of the Daimler-Benz concern Hans Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher, adding the first letters from their surnames and the name of the city, the German Grossapsach, came up with the abbreviation AMG. Her companions called a small studio. Until 1990, an independent company was engaged in tuning Mercedes. Then the leadership of the Daimler-Benz concern offered to sign a partnership agreement, and in 2005 the auto giant completely absorbed AMG, establishing the Mercedes-AMG division. It was decided to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the court workshop with the release of several new products. Moreover, the track version of the GT sports car, which the Germans call “the most powerful sports car ever created by the Mercedes‑AMG brand,” will become the main one. The car will not be able to drive on the roads, as it is intended strictly for track races and club events. Which is quite reasonable: releasing a herd of seven hundred horses onto public highways is fraught with troubles ... It's a pity, because the silvery two-door, decorated with a spectacular black and red decor, looks simply stunning! Moreover, the manufacturer specifies: all external improvements have been thoroughly tested not by fire and water, but by wind tunnels. So the main thing here is speed and handling, and not design at all. It is all the more surprising that the release is silent about the time it takes for a four-liter bi-turbo engine to accelerate the car to “hundreds” ... But it is quite obvious that this result is less than three seconds. By the way, instead of a preselective robot, the engineers installed a purely racing “sequential”. Plus, the creators of this masterpiece carried out the next stage of weight reduction, which at once managed to be reduced by one and a half centners. In general, it should be completely clear to potential buyers why they want to ask for a third of a million euros for this Mercedes. Obviously, we have before us the best car with a star on the front end from the outgoing era of internal combustion engines!

Premiere at a lower rank - an anniversary options package for the G 63 SUV. It includes a black and red leather interior design, plus carbon inserts. Outside, the main decoration will be ... branded decals (that is, stickers) on the sidewalls of the body. By the way, the Germans are sure that anniversary copies will stand more than ride. Therefore, they immediately give the owner a special cover to protect the car from dust. At the current exchange rate, this entire set costs about 2 million ₽.
