Captain John Sheridan (Bruce Boxleitner), in charge of the titular space station, is joined by Commander Susan Ivanova, Security Chief Michael Garibaldi, Dr. Stephen Franklin, and others as he tries to keep the peace between the different species on board and protect the residents from external threats. Sheridan is openly at war with his own Earth government, he and Garibaldi are missing, the Shadow War takes a surprising turn, Londo and Vir, teaming up with unlikely ally G'kar, fight to save their world from tyranny and destruction, and Delenn faces her past.
