This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure picks up at the Macoupin County Jail attraction with our guide Laurie Flori. Oliver Schwallenstecker of the route 66 association who spoke about the history of Luck alehouse: the original Ariston café. Laurie brought us to the largest collection of Sears homes in the USA. From there we traveled a couple loops and filmed a closed bridge on one of these loops. we entered into Litchfield and filmed the Ariston Café with N. Adams.
