U.S. Marine Artillery Live-Fire Range

September 14, 2021 - U.S. Marines with Echo Battery, Battalion Landing Team 3/5, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), fire the M777 Howitzer cannon system at a live fire range on Camp Fuji, Japan. Echo Battery conducted training in order to maintain proficiency in weapon handling and refine unit standard operating procedures. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
