At 150 pounds, emus are more likely to injure people than ostriches. In 2019---an emu hospitalized an Australian zookeeper--and, in 2015, a man in his 50's was injured by an emu in a wildlife park.

Emus run up to thirty miles per hour and have extremely sharp claws that are similar to knives.
