My Demise (my original song) Take 2

I had to re-record this amplified because the first take was right after I wrote it and I've had a little time to tighten it up.
Here are the lyrics:
Just like the misty waters, rising high with the tide.
My red eyes are so sad now because it's been such a troubling ride.
Well I don't want to get carried away,
or make a scene.
I no longer can be held down by Earth's gravity.
Did I make any difference in the short time that I had with you?
The lonesome ship is sailing
and now it's time to say my good-byes.
I leave here with a heavy heart
and sorrow in my mind.
I'm watching my performance on the timeless stage.
Will I be raised up, or be struck down or locked in a cage?
Is feeling sorry and mercy really gonna be enough
