How can “God is love” be a half-truth when the Bible clearly teaches that, indeed, God is love? God’s attributes, the inherent characteristics of His being, include more than just love.  Love is not just about making another person feel warm and fuzzy but love also includes pointing out what may be uncomfortable. Melissa Doughtery explains that while the world easily embraces the fact that God is love, they frequently redefine what that really means.
