Australia Federal Land Flag Notes

In order to see where the Federal Land Flag came from I made some notes, investigating each component or word. It started with a competition for a Federal Flag. Other aspects came from tradition and history in Commonwealth countries. The Australian people of year 1900 onwards then used these elements when flying the Peoples Federal Land Flag. This flag was never replaced and remains with the people to this day. The official blue 2:1 7-point-stars flag most Aussies know was adapted/derived from the Federal Flag.

Requirements

Federal Flag - the winner of the "Federal Flag Competition"
Land Flag - car, prime minister, chief of army, indoor flag. 2:3 ratio.
War Flag - also on land. also often 2:3.
Civilian Flag - Australian Red Ensign de facto peoples flag.

So for a Federal Land Flag for use by civilians of the Commonwealth of Australia, the correct design is the "Red" version of the "winner of the Federal Flag competition" in a 2:3 aspect ratio.

I added an archive of the notes and pictures (updated 6may22 thanks to those who did not forget):

And here is the program that created the notes, tangentnotes.com which is in alpha stage so newer versions may not work properly until bugs are ironed out.
